I have not been on here for a while and wanted to update all of you. I am doing quite well. I am eeping up with my bills and my ex is giving me a bit more money to help out since he is bac to wor. I have a chart set up to show how I will pay my bills each month and when credit cards will get paid off. By October I should have 4 of them paid off!!! If nothing happens between now and then money wise. Thanks for all the support. I was not able to come up with the settlement amount for my one card but they let me pay each month wothout interest. So I guess untill I hit the lotto, I will pay every month to them for now. If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything!!!!

I was offered a settlement amount of 6,500.00 for the 12,000 I owe. I was told I had until April 25 to pay or I could make payment arrangements but pay back a higher amount. Is there anyone out there who would even give me an interest free loan. Please respond. Anyone! You can pay them direct this is not a fraud just a desperate plee. Please.

HELP!!Does anyone know how I can come up with 10,308.55 by April 20??? I have been paying all my credit cards the min due except the large one which I owed 12,000. They would not accept anything lower than 150.00 a month and I could not pay and refused to pay because they would not work with me. Well now I am in collection with Chase bank and the collection agent says they will settle for $10,308.55 if I pay by April 20 and I need to call them back by this Monday to tell them if I can pay or not. They did say if I could pay close to that amount they might take it. What can I do. I have no place to turn. I have a 1979 trans am I am selling but that may only get me $4,000 maybe. Anyone interested in it? Other than that I don't know what to do. i don't want my credit ruined by one card. Please any info would be appreciated.

Update. I received my income tax refund today and paid 1/2 my Nimo bill and my property taxes. Please someone help me out. I am trying on my own, and every time I get a little extra something happens (car, kids etc.). I keep getting calls from my one credit card company(I can't afford the minimum on that one). I keep paying the other cards and I get the next bill and they only apply such a small amount. I really need a miracle now. I am so depressed. Ebay is low, running out of things to sell. Really not fair that I sell my kids things, but I am along with everything else. My ex is suppose to give me 1/2 his unemployent but excuses this and last week brought me only 1/4 of it. Is there anyone willing to help a single working Mom and her 4 kids. I was so excited the first couple of weeks because I thought I was making headway, but I can't keep up and I am am going nuts looking for stuff around the house to sell!! Please consider me, I now there are scams on this site. If you want to know where your money goes i will let you pay the debt direct. I will not even handle the money. I hate to sound desperate but I don't know where else to turn. Thanks for listening.

Well another week has gone by. This week I have no money to contribute to the debt fund. A coil broke in my car and cost me $150.00 just for the part, my fatherinlaw replaced it bless his heart. Sorry to disappoint you all. I am trying harder this week to earn a bit more. I am working all week due to some people being on vacation. That should bring me an extra $100.00 or more. Thanks for the support!!!

Well, I am making some headway. I applied my ebay money and can money this week and had a grand total of 112.75. Not the 350 I wanted, but better than nothing. I aplied this toward my credit cards and decreased my debt a bit. I am still hoping someone might come to my rescue to help me get rid of this debt faster so I can make a fresh start. Thanks for all the support.

My goal this week is $350.00. I have items listed on ebay and I am working an extra day this week. Hopefully you can help as well. Only about $14,800 to go. LOL. Seems like alot but I will get there.

Well, it's been about a week or so. I have just applied payments to my credit cards and I am out of debt by $287.00. Thanks to all of you who emailed me.

Thank you for all the interest in my aid page. I have been receiving lots of advice. Each week I will put money toward all my credit debts. I will do this on my aid page and update every Sunday. Hopefully they will go down faster with your help. regardless, every extra dime I find is going toward this. I collect cans from family and friends to recycle. I ebay for friends for a percentage of selling price. I even pick up loose change on the ground. I then apply all this extra cash to my bills. I can't wait to see this weeks tally!!!

Well, Sitnpretty66 is not sitting pretty anymore.

I am a recent single parent of four children ages 3, 10, 13, 15. My husband an I separated about a 6 months ago. I work part time and I sell on Ebay from home. My husband does pay child support and helps when he can. This money just barely covers our monthly expenses. My problem is the debt I have from credit cards. I am not behind, I pay the minimum each month, but doing so is going to continue for a lifetime if I can't pay more. I am in the process of getting a full time job that works with our schedule, considering my 3 year old does not need to be in a daycare 10 hours a day and my kids have sports and such with school. My brother is looking for a job for me near him and his family and offered to let us stay with them until I can save some money. I also have looked into taking a CNA or Phlebotomist course at our local college. Working in a hospital would be great for extra hours and benefits. Bankruptcy is NOT an option, I would rather pay forever. I do get an income tax refund and I will be using most of that towards the debt. After paying with that amount I will still owe close to 15,000.00. If anyone would like to help us get a fresh start I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
